Mossy Oak Duck Blind

Postby Greenhead22 » Sun Sep 02, 2007 8:32 pm

I am giving everyone fair warning. Do not buy this camo unless you want to stick out like a sore thumb in your "duck blind". I bought a pair of Cabelas waders online last week. I picked MODB over Max 4 because I've never cared for Max 4. Well, they're about 100 times brighter than in the picture. The camo is a bright yellow/white background.

GulfCoast told me to stay away from the it, but I had forgotten the conversation.

That's supposed to be an "actual" picture. Well, it isn't when you look at my waders. Like GC said, the yellow background is basically crayon yellow.

It's way too bright, but I can't afford to lose $20 to ship them back to Cabelas.

Maybe the waders and clothing are different but I saw a guy's Browning Silver in MODB and it looked pretty good, more grey than yellow.

What brand of waders........maybe a production problem with the manufacture.....some of my friends are with MO licensing, I'm sure they would like to hear about it.

GC came up with a great idea. Mud the waders just like you would a ground blind. These things have one heck of a glare when you walk out in the sun with them on. That might be my best option to dull the color and glare.

What happens to the mud when you get them wet?
