I'd just like to mention here that some of you, (judge and others) seem to be supporters of them damn twirlies, and now that some real data is available showing what any homeboy with a brain already knew, whats yalls take on them things NOW??????

It's OK to be wrong in the abscence of proof but thats far enough.....

I saw Ole Bufflehead say that he still thinks they are a good table leveler for guys who dont have land to bait legally.

I want to say this ONE MORE TIME for those of you who aint got a CLUE what the difference is between shooting ducks over bait and a twirlie.

Twirlies are PURE additive mortality. Legal baiting as you people choose to call habitat management produces compensatory mortality.

Twirlies do NOT produce an advantage for the non-land owner that does anything CLOSE to what managed habitat does FOR THE DUCKS GENTLEMEN, that right, FOR THE DUCKS.

They arent even in the same GAME, at ALL, and with the numbers currently available on twirlies, it's clear that they are even worse for the ducks than we thought.

And with those kinds of numbers, there WILL BE restrictions put on either twirlie usage OR our bags and seasons, and I can already see the writing on the wall from HERE.

THese people who use twirlies will want our BAGS AND SEASONS reduced so they can use a damn twirlie.

The is NO COMPARISON between a twirlie and habitat management. You call habitat management "baiting" when you havent got a clue what the real numbers look like.
I have planted so damn much rice, milo and sunflowers this year that I cant even rememberr where I planted all of it. I dont own ONE DAMN ACRE of land, and I dont need to in order to FEED the ducks. No twirlie is EVER going to feed ducks, EVER. They are WAY too much, WAY, and you people who stand behind them after numbers like these come out should have your damn heads cut off.

Doesnt believe for an instant there is no motivation beyond a duck or a dollar, well Im so surprised at THAT response. You see, your greedy booty dad told you the rules for when you are acting as a predator and not a giver.

Grand Poopah of duckery? Well, now for somebody like you son, yes I AM the grand poopah, cause you couldnt lick my BOOTS when it comes to duck hunting.

And if you want some proof of that, you just pick the spot ya flippin baby boy, no twirlies, no bait, just raw skill to kill ducks. We see who is the Poopah in this and who is a flippin cry baby.

The reason I am such a dedicated conservationists, is because I first became a seriously deadly predator son. When you master your given abilities, there is no need for a twirlie.

You want proof? Fine...
How much homeboy? I aint stompin your booty in the mud for less than a Grand, but you name the price, cause buddy, I can "@#$%#" play THIS game....

And one that doesnt understand how knowing you are a deadly predator changes the way you view the big picture.

Sometimes I jest dont get it. All you men want to be real predators, and it's OK to buy a twirlie and pretend to be one all day long, but it aint OK to actually BE one...

Polished accomplished predators dont use twirlies, period. They dont need them. Maybe THAT is the part I just cant figure out from THAT side...........

I don't know Baldduck, it just completely astonishes me that yall dont know the difference between those two.

Does a robo duck feed ducks the other 20 hours of the day you aint killin ducks over it? And the other 5 days that your arent in the marsh?

Do I need to explain this any further for you to see the difference?
If so, then you first explain WHY there is no difference between these two.

And here is a little example of what people who have an attitude like yours do at times.

They get some money, and the first thing they do is buy some land to BAIT the ducks as you callit. Then when some ducks come, they apply the same mentality that you do with a twirlie to shooting them. Not very long, and guess what, they got no ducks, over their bait. So they resort to what most habitat developers see as the ultimate in displaying stupidity with regard to proper harvest management. They put a twirlie down in the middle of their bait......

With your attitude, comes nothing good for the ducks, nuthin......

They not only cause additive mortality, they cause it at a staggering rate.

And unlike the long trail to owning some good duck habitat, in which the mortality numbers arent nearly as bad, because of the compensation that is built into the management, a twirlie is so nasty because it allows any dingle *** with $150 dollars to step up to the additive mortality plate with NO offering compensation other than a membership to DU which he thinks entitiles him to shoot any damn thing he wants to.

And on top of that, they negate the need to really LEARN to HUNT. Trust me, when you see green as a bell pepper wanna be's at the dock consistently with limits, it aint their skills doing it, its that "@#$%#" twirlie they gaurd like dogs doing it.

NO skills, NO compensation, PURE additive mortality, and pure APATHY for the consequences.

Baldduck I dont give a sheit WHAT you hunt with, if you cant define the difference between these two, then you aint no duck hunter, period. True blue duck hunters dont need no explanation for it, they know instantly that this thing in bad "@#$%#" news.

AAAAHHHHHH they just take it too serious thats all. The point is twirlies do a LOT of other stuff to duck hunting besides help you with a limit.

I may be a redneck and I may have just been lucky about that, but most rednecks I know who can actually killa duck think them twirlies is for sissy boys who dont know how to hunt, and dont care to learn.

You dont need to go no further in mortality or anything else associated with a twirlie, thats far enough for me.

You give them clothes that they cannot get cold in, boats that will not flip over, and a decoy that brings ducks no matter how clueless you are, and you got the gate open for every yahoo with a gun and an ego to positively RUIN your duck hunting.
RUIN IT.
