Whats wrong with Bill? Both times I have met him he has been incredibly genuine and I have had great conversations both times. Easily ranks as one of the best people I have met in the outdoor industry. Michael Waddel is right up there also.

i like micheal just fine.... bill, well lets just say many moons ago i had some business dealings with him and they left a bad taste in my mouth....

i know an assertion without a story is useless...but i'll tell you about it one day over a beer...it's not that bad...i still buy his camo....

and on another note...bill was a pretty good athelete...worse comes to worse I bet he'd beat ole Tom's booty.....

Tom on the avery board is one of the reasons that I won't buy their products any more. He basically cussed a 13year old kid out for mentioning, not complaining, not wanting a refund or new decoys, but he mentioned in passing that the decoys had a few chips of paint missing. The kid even said he liked them a lot, they just had some chipped paint.

Tom reamed him a new one for "baseless accusations" and wanted proof or him to retract his statement. He just went off the deep end over nothing on a kid.

It just made me mad and thats where I said I'd never buy another Avery product if I could help it.

Those first run decoys Avery made were terrible! The 13 year old was probably the 10,000th person to tell him the paint wouldn't stay on!

I like both of their stuff. Avery makes great blind bags and gun cases. Drakes clothes are awesome! That is all I would wear if they weren't so pricey.

Drake makes good stuff, (also McAlister, the sister company ofDrake-they make traditional hunting clothes). I have an Avery vest, and I like it, don't really have any thing else that is Avery.

Yeah I have a Avery vest that I wish I didnt have now that Drake has the new vest out. Drake thought well on designing there products for the avid waterfowler. now if they'd get there prices to be as cheap as Avery's. But I will be paying the extra money for the quality Drake has.

Yeah, i have had the Avery about 3 years now. I think Drake just came out with that vest recently. At least the first time that I ever saw it was a few weeks ago.

Are most of the designs from Drake coming from Tate Woods???

I do agree the products are very well thought out, however; I don't own any at the present time. Several guys I hunt with have some of the products and really like them
