Me and a buddy went hunting thurs. morning and we had a flock of about 35 pintail come in and we killed two. The great thing is that one of them had a BAND. The first time I have ever heard of anyone killing a banded pintail. It was really special. What makes the story more interesting is that we went hunting with some buddies over in Marks later that day about 12:30 and hunted until shooting hours were over. six of us limited out. and of all those ducks that we killed one was a BANDED greenhead mallard. Two hunts. Two bands. One pintail drake and one mallard drake. truly the hunt of a lifetime. even though it seems to be good now I havent been hunting since then because I don't know what could top that.

Why didn't you hunt anymore after that ? I would have been pumped to go huntin more after 2 good hunts. Especially when the season was winding down. A hunt can always be topped!! Always!
