He admits that he hates duck hunting and will not go.

He may be like a lot of people.....he thinks that duck hunting is too much work and money to only get to pull the trigger 5 times.

Maybe he could write about public hunting and his adventures there..... no scratch that he would have to actually walk there. Maybe he should write about the Adkins diet or the lapband surgery. Then maybe he could broaden his topics and not just weight down Pete and Rabbits boat eating Vienne Weenies!!! I would love to take him on a deer hunt. About a 1 mi hike to start off with, then a 30ft climb into a loc-on. Not a big loc-on one with a lil bitty seat. Then tell him I will be back at dark to get em. That would make a good story.

On second thought guys, maybe there is a silver lining to Bobby Cleveland's deficiencies as an outdoorsman and outdoor sports writer.
We don't have to worry too much about him duck hunting on our local public lands and WMAs and then writing articles about them, complete with how to's and GPS coordinates, which would undoubtedly attract OOS competition for our holes.
And, the more he writes about duck hunting and deer hunting, then the more hunters we might have, and more competition in the woods.
So, let him keep writing about fishin' with whoever, rabbit hunting, squirrel hunting, and eating wild game and fish. And keep him as far away from the duck woods as possible.
We gotta (me included) start learning to find the good in all things.

Case in point..... he wrote an article about the bass fishing at Little Eagle Lake, which is a rather out-of-the-way shallow little lake in Humphrey County, that's fished only ocassionally by bass fishermen with the big boats. Monday morning, after his article came out in the C-L Liar on Sunday, big bass boats were lined up, nearly back to Hiway 12, trying to launch at the little, mostly mud, ramp.
