that is a well used mineral lick that turns into water hole with a lot of rain. they visit often!!

that is a homebrew camera. First one I have made

Now those are quality pix. I don't think I'll fool with the IR cameras..don't like the pics off them, and its obvious that the flash does NOT bother the deer at all.
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

I just wanted the easiest homebrew i could find, so I built (with help) this one. I have had the timer set to 1 minute, and would have 4 or 5 pics of the same deer. I think for the most part it does not bother them, but that 1 time in a 100, it might cost you.

yeah.. for the most part i dont think the flash bothers them.. they get used to it just like anything else.. some people elevate them and point them down.. say the flash is similar to lightening..

After I got this, I've tried to steer away from flash cams. I've got a few others but scared the shat outta this one. :lol:

Wish I could get some help. 8 folks on 7500 acres and a doe quota of at least 60 keeps us busy. Especially when we don't get to hunt the property until mid december :x :x :cry: :cry:
