If everything about this guy is true, why is he not in jail? What he is doing is FRAUD, and is a felony punisable by a long jail sentence....but it seems he is out there doing it to every hunter wanting a good duck hole....

You're right, if what is said about him is true, he has comitted felony fraud, and is also guilty of the federal crimes of wire and mail fraud. Under federal wire and mail fraud statutes, he can be sentenced a $10,000 fine and 10 years in prison each time he uses the phone or the mail to cheat someone out of money on a duck lease.

If he was cheating old ladies out of their social security checks, he'd be in jail for a long time.Problems are, people don't follow through with pressing charges, the authorities don't see his scams as a real crime since it involves hunting leases, and he is probably a good talker when questioned by the authorities.

I called this guy about six years ago about a lease. He was supposed to meet me where the DNF dummy line kicks off Omega Road. I waited and waited at the time we agreed upon, and he never showed. I finally got him on the phone the next day and he claimed he was there. I knew then he was someone to avoid. Hopefully, word will spread and people will not be taken by him, and if they are, hopefully someone will press charges and follow through.
