The last weekend could be bad???

Postby qwackhead » Tue Jan 21, 2003 12:20 pm

My brothers coming up from New Orleans and it looks like rice fields will be froze up Thurs-Sat and the big river is dropping like someone pulled the plug on a bathtub. Any suggestions on low water river hunting within 20 miles of Greenville?

My friend the river is almost out of the question. I hunt it quit often and not even going to attempt it this weekend. Ark. city gauge will be at 5.7 all the holes i hunt are only huntable 9.5 or higher. You may be able to find a small pocket off the river if you have time to scout. good luck

I predict great things this weekend for all.

Go out and hunt all day if thats what it takes!

If you don't go and try, then in 2 weeks you will be ticked you didn't!!!

Save the bitchin for the off season...slay em' this weekend!

Ain't it great?!?!?!? :D

Cold starting tonight. Looks like it will not get above freezing from thursday morning until sat afternoon. The sun will help, if it shines.

I'm thinking of getting one of lowduck's paddlewheels and putting it out.
