Killed my first banded duck!
I killed my first banded duck Saturday morning. Yee Haa! It was a male woody. What am I supposed to do now? Also, I'm wanting to mount it with the band but do I take it off or leave it on before I take it to the taxi guy?

and report the band.
I would pry off the band without cutting the leg off if you want to have the bird mounted. Then when you get him back, you can put the band back on his leg.
Congratulations my friend. It was probably the greatest day of my life, when I picked up that duck that had the first band I've ever collected. I'll never forget that day back in 1987. Way to go.
