Echo timber single reed
RNT short barrel or daisy cutter single reed

It's all about calling technique and cadence. Go to a sporting goods store that allows the customers to blow the calls before buying. One echo will blow perfect, and you can put up another one identical that doesn't. Same goes for rnt's.

Single Reed. RNT makes really nice calls. GH22 may have some limited edition DuckSouth calls to sell.

Your question really depends on skill level, what you want to do with the call and the hunting setting. Answer those questions for yourself and we might be able to give a better answer.

Like I said before, the easiest way to do it is to go to a sporting goods store and blow the calls available.

It's been about a year since we did that, and I'm thinking it's about time to get another batch made. I've been thinking about several callmakers that I'll probably contact to see what different engraving styles and prices we can get. We could probably go with echo again, but I'm thinking about doing something different this time around.
