Tracker Grizzly Boats?

Postby Redneck » Mon Jan 06, 2003 12:45 pm

Anybody got one of these or know anyone that does? From what I have saw in my weekly BassPro catalog, they look like to be a good boat for the price. Just wanted to get some info from someone who might have field tested one of them.
DeadEye, I think my waders are leaking.

I have a buddy that has one its a 1448 and I dont think you could turn the darn thing over even by jumping on one side. I believe that he is looking to sell the boat and trailer (no motor). Email me and I can put you fellas in touch.

I looked at the 14' and 15' in Dallas at bass pro twice this year. They look like great boats and appear to be priced well. I also like the split rear seat in case you want to put a big go devil on it. If you buy one, post a report on how you like it.

The camo pattern looks awesome up close too.

I have had a 1448 now for 4 years and I think they are one of the best all around boats on the market. I use mine year round and belive me it a tough boat no doubt about it. Hundred thousants guage aluminum all welded ,semi V bottom. I have checked the bottom several time still havent seem a dent in it yet. It has a bunch of scatches on it though..Last year a friend of mine came by and asked me how long have you had this boat. I told him a couple of years why. He said that boat looked 10 years ole with all the scratches on and the waterline marks on it I said well it dont sit in the garage and collect dust. I use it year round. Mine will float in about 6 to 8 inches of water. Ihave run it up on stumps hit logs managed too break the trim unit hittin a stump on the while gettin up on the pad.Transon wasnt hurt a bit. I got a 40hp on the back and a min kota power up trim. (Another good investment) The only complaint I've got is I wish I had went on and bought the 16ft. Other than that this will probly be the last boat I buy unless I trade it for a 16ft one. Hope this helps. Good boat no complaints @ all

I have one and I love it. I have a 1548 w/ a merc 20 and it is great. I would ot trade it for any express. the boat has very deep sides and will hunt three people and a dog with no problem. For the money, you can not go wrong. I would have BPS put a floor in it if it does not already have one. I am going to have that done to mine in the off season. I currently have a avery blind on it, but I am switching to a Mud Buddy this weekend.
