HAS ANYONE DONE ANY GOOD HUNTING TIPPO WATER OFF OF HWY 8?

Postby MT » Wed Jan 01, 2003 7:33 am

I HUNTED TIPPO DECEMBER 26TH AND 27 AND MY GROUP KILLED FOUR DUCKS. WE DID NOT SEE ANY HIGH FLYING DUCKS. PLEASE LET ME KNOW ANY REPORTS ON TALLAHATCHIE COUNTY. I TALKED TO A LOCAL AND THEY SAID THERE WERE A GOOD MANY DUCKS IN TALLAHATCHIE COUNTY BEFORE THE HEAVY RAINS CAME IN BEFORE CHRISTMAS WEEK.

THANKS,

Well, according to the number of views this topic has recieved.....there are 39 other folks (as of this time), interested in what may or may NOT be happening in that same area.............and no replies, until now.

These folks aren't sayin' anything yea or ney.......not 'cause they don't want to help a fella out, necessarily........but ducks are few and far between, right now.........and if a feller actually knew where he could go kill one duck right now.........chances are, he ain't tellin' anyone else until the smoke clears. They keepin their ears open and their mouths shut.....hopin' that someone will screw-up and volunteer some little tid-bit.....and hope nobody else finds out about it 'fore they have a chance to get in there and whack some butts.

Just do the same thing you been doin' and the same thing most other hard-cores are doing..........hunting, scouting and looking for signs of a duck, ANYWHERE! Maybe someone will e-mail you.

Welcome to the forum.......and Good hunting to ya!

Hunted near there yesterday morn and I saw very few birds.

There is an old Chinese saying for that hunt: Sukmuchloin

i have some friends who lease an area on Grassy Lake, they had good hunts early, and are now killing 1 or 2 each time they(4-9) go.
