I picked up a Big river game calls "duck buster" this year. I have used it mostly. Echo has this new double reed timber call. It has a wood barrel and acrylic insert that a buddy of mine picked up, MAN that thing is AWESOME I'm gonna have me one before long.

Haydels DR-85, Cajun Squeal, and some old piece of crap freebie RNT single reed that my brother in law gave me. I think DU gave it away about 10 years ago.

DR-85 & DRS-88 have gotten about equal time, this year.

('Redlegs' is a DR-85 with training wheels) :shock: :lol: BWAAAAHAHAhaha!! :lol:

I will add that lately, I have put the 85 up and started using the 5 in 1 whistle only. Birds are really call shy around here. Give em a coupla teal tweets and widgeon whistles...they just won't work a regular call.

echo double reed timber call{diamond wood barrel and plastic insert} or rotens double reed.when i can keep it from sticking!!!the birds seem to respond really well to it.

I like my old Shur-Shot deluxe when they are in close. It is a veteran of 23 seasons. "works for me". :)
