That is really is funny. It really is a kodak moment.

Someone mentioned that their herd was screwed up. Does anyone know who was making the suggestions??? Just wondering. My buddy hunted over their probably 10-12 yrs ago with someone and said he had never seen anything like it.

Fences got a way of fluckin things up, our adjoining club put one up about five or six years ago, from what i hear it didnt turn out like they expected, the deep pockets overrule sense on occasion

now i dont know how much land these cats have but all ive heard is that unless u have a goooood chunk of land it doesnt help all that much unless u put money into the hears like buying big deer and putting them on the property and take a limited amount of the big deer

they have 4000 plus acres, which is split into two fenced areas
When it come's to duck calling and duck killing its the indian not the arrow!

Fencing 4000 acres and never bringing in new deer will eventually lead to inbreeding. How long it takes for the bad consequences to show up I couldn't say, but I would think four or five generations would sound about right. Does anybody know of any research done on deer populations and inbreeding?

Something else to consider for you guys that have camps next to this place - what will happen to your deer herd if they take the fences down (if they in fact have a "screwed-up" deer population)?

Greed isn't one of the seven deadly sins for nothing. :roll:

I am not envious of 4000 acres with a fence around it at the present time.

However, I am envious of a late model 21' to 24' bay boat. :lol: I want one bad.

me 2 but a new house and a baby on the way that dont look to be happening anytime soon
