Who would have thunk it.

Was he really interested in playing in the NFL or just got the cold shoulder? He never looked like he was big enough to be a pro QB anyway.

Leake wasn't pro-material.... good college QB, but not pro-material...hell he couldn't see over the line half the time in college..... but, he had a really solid supporting cast.....

Just heard on ESPN radio where they thought Patrick Willis was the second best player in the draft behind Calvin Johnson. The project him to be the next Mike Singletary or Ray Lewis.

Correction: It was Sporting News radio

haven't heard anybody say THAT, but we do know his talent level and he has that kind of potential. That being said, Singletary will be his linebacker coach and had lots of praise for Patrick, but thinks he's only scratched the surface of his overall ability(ie. learning more coverages, etc).

I saw a draft break down on Fox sports I think. The writer said he felt it was the second best pick behind C. Johnson. It also said Brady Quinn would be a Pro Bowler too. Take it for what it is worth. Jury is still out till they are all on the field. I would certainly like to see willis do great!

Well, going into the noon hr on Sun, not one Bama player has been drafted. 8) Ark didn't do too bad in the draft. Nor will they next year either.

Did you forget that bama had two players that finished 1 and 2 in defensive rookie of the year and Roman Harper would have been right there with them if he would have not gotten hurt. Yes bama did not have any top players going in the draft and Arkie did. Well what does that say about the talent that will be coming back.

Ark will have McFadden, Luigs, Jones, Hillis, Monk . All will be 1st or 2nd round picks with DMAC the potential #1 overall. There are several others that may go in the later rounds.

LSU is still loaded with talent.

what about willis's dope smokin buddy from Vicksburg Rory Johnson, They had him on the list as the top linebacker left starting in the fourth round. BULL$HIT on a stick. Tai Stick that is. Rory Johnson was a piece of crap at Vicksburg High school and it didn't surprise me at all that a sorry school like Ole Miss picked him up out of Hinds where he had a solid reputation for living La vida loca and playing randy moss/Terrell Owens style. Tons of talent Zero maturity.
