GB,
Just ribbing you on the Sierra Club. I saw your comment about chicken farms and just wondered how far that traveled into other agriculture areas. I might even be misconstruing(I hope I spelled that right) your comment. If I am, my bad. I know that you can't be anti-farming because you are a duck hunter.
Don't worry about our operation. We go farther than what the State says we have to on ensuring we don't pollute the environment. I don't use the saying "Take care of what you like, or be forced to like what you get" for nothing.

well rest assured that if this post crashes the server we can probably trace that back to bill gates ties to the steel shot industry

You can pick up indiviual pellets in front of the blinds of folks who got more cheese than me to spend per bullet... Luckily, it won't kill ducks like dat....
I shot sum heavy shot 6's someone won at a hunt test, and left in my truck. And i got to say, if you hit a bird, in range, it will die. If you miss it, it wont. But then again, so will the steel I shoot. My conclusions, if you miss something with new nontoxic alternatives, it's costing much more to suck.
I first formulated this theroy after buying sum tungstun bbb's for honks. After shooting $9 worth of holes in the air on the first bunch of decoying honkers, I decided it hurt to miss wif hi-test bullets. travis

Yes I know the chance of killing a duck w/ a $3 shell...Just wanted to try them once..Cant see having them for all of duck season..But may come in really handy for the Honkers like you said...

Remington Hevi-Shot, aka Remington Premier Hevi-shot Nitro Magnum, can be bought at Wal-Mart. Atleast they sell it over here in Vicksburg and Jackson. I bought mine from Mack's Prairie Wings a few weeks back. I was going to be up there and it was a few dollars a box cheaper. When I asked them at the sporting goods counter at Wal-Mart I think they said it was $21.99 a box. I know Mean Mallard in Jackson sells it for $19 a box and Mack's is $17 a box.
