I have never had a problem with the lock on my 2 Pauls.

A good Walker/liner lock is a great lock. A cheap liner lock on a cheap knife gets your fingers cut. How I learned this is not important......
So many ducks, so little time....

One with a screw of top that doubles as a compass with matches and a wire saw inside, just like Rambo.

Kershaw in my pocket daily, but I skin the critters with an Old Timer (single blade) that was passed down from my grandpa.

Red Victorinox "Huntsman" (with the scissors and sawblade). Been carrying the same one since 1989. Got a nick on the long blade, caused from the arc in bumping a John Deere off one morning, and the blades about 1/4th receded from sharpenings. All ain't right with the world on days it ain't in my pocket.
