QUESTION FOR UKC/AKC HUNT TESTERS

Postby Locked Up » Wed Mar 21, 2007 2:38 pm

Just woundering if there are any clubs in the Columbus, Starkville, down to Meridian area? I know that the north is covered with OHHRC & SFHRC and the south with SMHRC & WMHRC. I know there are AKC clubs in north and south MS, but just woundering about the East side of the state? I am from AL, but run all the MS UKC test, and was just curious if anyone has ever though about a club in the East? Thanks Guys>>>>

Hey Nash, I am in CAHRC with Stumpjumer, I was just woundering about other places. Here in AL, we have only 3 clubs and only ours have run a HT in the past couple of years, so I travel alot to run test. Wish they were more around here. I travel to just about anything within 250-300 miles if work allows.

That's right, I wish they were as many clubs as they have in N.E Ga and SC. They have 7 with in a 200 mi radius. Thay would be awsome. But that is just my opinion.

there was a thread here recently asking the same thing, with several people intrested. west point used to have a club at the mossy oak mall, dunno if they even still have that mall, aint been to west point since the hrc club was gone. Id say there is enough intrest in that area for a club, judging from the posts on every thread about it, sounds like someone needs to step up and get it organized. Get it going and I'll judge the prelim for free... as long as your dates arent before march 1st or after oct 31st! hehe. travis

man, get it setup and if it's an off weekend of mine, i'd like to be grandfathered in as a finished judge.

be a kick to be judging w/ travis............he'd have seniority, but i gaurantee ya we could find something to argue about

Dat aint poop.... stan brown has me judging wif finley both days at hurricane. Finley got both of ya'll beat by a country mile.

gator, you said you'd NEVER judge. Whut gives? Wanting to suck up all the perks that comes wif giving your time and having people punk you out about it? bwhahahaha, not to mention it drives chicks nuts. Its really all dat, AND a bag of chips. Usually horse chips, but chips none the less.

Dude I was so disapointed you didnt come to our training day. I had read everything you hated in an hrc test, and was going to do everybit of it, just for you!

gator I would judge wif you. And when it happens, be it wif me, or hamm, or any other fat guy in the chair, aint no such thing as seniorty in judges. Takes 2 to tango my brutha, all dat seniorty stuff is another organization. An aprentice carries as much weight as the AA judge. Me and hamm carry more weight, but its figurative, as in our figures.

Oh, and ifn yur gonna become a judge, get one of those rulebook thingys. You can't grandfather finished, you could seasoned, but not finished. Besides, their prelim is your weekend to work. travis (who is happy to me wif hamm, but LOVES messing wif gator even more... hes more fun dan the british lab guys).
