Wondering if anyone has tried to hunt these ducks around Grenada lake...Last year, me and a couple buddies always saw ducks in or around the lake.....around graceport....but these ducks always stayed in the wide open water......did get a few groups to work last year but any ideas on how to hunt these ducks around Grenada Lake ...if anyone has hunted around this area, you know what i mean...
Thanks!!!

Those ducks were pretty tough to hunt.

You gotta be kidding, Grenada and it's overflow area are prime duck areas. I've got a buddy who kills the heck out of them up there..

it does. get a map, scout hard and get there very early because there are very few holes that locals don't already know about. Having a boat helps tremendously.

You do have to scout very hard. When the Grenada lake area does have ducks, they tend to concentrate on certain spots. Its an area that can be productive. Remember this, don't just decide to scout around one afternoon and hunt the nest day. It takes a little while to learn the water, stumps, and runs. That lake and river is a lower unit eater.
