Dog Trainers?
Dog Trainers?
Does anyone know of any good dog trainers in the Oxford, Grenada, Greenwood, Tupelo area? I have a 2 month old Choc lab that I need to send to obedience training. Any suggestions would be helpful. Don't really need hunting training, mainly obedience basics, sit, heel, stay, etc. I think I can handle the retriever training but man this pup is high strung and hard headed.

Search the forum, seems there was some discussion on Outback labs.
My dog is at Steve Vires (online labradors). Been pleased so far. He impresses me as someone who enjoys training and my pup definately enjoys him.

My pup is at Outback Labs right now.
I don't have any complaints with him. He is a super nice guy who is not in it for just the money, but for the good of the dog.
I sent mine just for Force Fetch and he has been finished with that for about a week now. He is using the rest of my months pay to do some other things. He gets a lot out of a dog and leaves them wanting more. I would recommend him to anybody.
4DUKHTN also has his pup there. You can ask him too.

I would ride over to the Southern Flight Hunt Test at the end of the month in Crowder. You will be able to meet some trainers and see them run some dogs.
I have a dog at Steve Vires and ditto Bayou Beagle's remark.

BM,
Send your dog to Steve V. at Online Labs! Lots of good trainers around, but he's the best. Send me an email sometime. I'm not at the plant anymore... FINALLY made it to the academy.
