I was speaking in general about all my buddies that are UA fans. I like to kid them saying that all they talk about is the past and the glory days in T-town. That was not a reference to this thread.

10-4 MSDawg, Just seems that most folks who keep bringing the Bear and all of Bama's glorious past are usually the ones who dislike Bama the most. I am just as proud of Alabama's rich history as anyone but also rarely bring it up. I know that in college football as in just about all of sports nowadays its a "what have you done for me lately" culture. Just look at former San Diego coach Marty Schottenhiemer. Leads the team to a 14-2 record yet still gets fired. You know in 1963 Tom Landry coach of the Dallas Cowboys was coming off 3 straight horrible losing seasons, yet the owner and the GM had enough faith and confidence in him that they re-signed him to a 10 year contract. How many coaches nowadays EVER get a 10 year contract even if they are winning much less if they have been losing.

I guess it was a different time with different people. We all know how he turned out.

back on the brimstone relaxing comfortably.

it."

resting. "Hey, this is like a good August day on the farm bailing hay. Feels
good. The hotter the better."

Within seconds, the air becomes chilly and frost appears, soon followed by
solid ice everywhere.
