Wow guys, this is like sensory overload. To even make a sensible post and not just go on rambling, I will have to get my head around this one.

In no particular order:
Left Hand Porter
Left Hand Milk Stout
Rogue Dead Guy
Duck-Rabbit Amber, Brown
Dogfish Head - most all, but a fan of the Pumpkin (seasonal)
Carolina Blonde (a true Pilsner)


There are four or five of us in our little group who enjoy trying good beers. We try to get together and have a small gathering every month or two. The only admission charge is a 6 piece of a new microbrew and something to put on the grill.

It works well.

Y'all should also check out the the beer selection at World Market.
The local one in Knoxville as well and the location in Southaven have a pretty good selection.

I do, however, use Shiner Bock as '0' on my scale of -10 to +10. I think it is the standard by which all beers should be measured.

There are some that are better (much) and lots that should not be allowed in the same playing field.

SBE, man, i've had to endure several wine/cheese deals here lately (no kiddin, and yes, it sux) but i got to thinkin at the last one bout doing a beer tastin/wildgame cookin sorta gig every so often.

If you like Trappist Ales check out Saison Dupont Vieille Reserve or Chimay...or any Trappist for that matter. If you can get your hands on a bottle get Delirium Tremens, another Belgian product.

All those micro's are good...and I'll add one I didn't see...Troutslayer (had that in Montana).

But on my way to the camp, when I realize I forgot the cash and beer, I can still appreciate that suitcase of Natural Light for 9.99 at the Holcomb Gas Mart.

Hey, i didn't bring it up. But it is a beer. Cider is a type of beer according to my beer encyclopedia . It just isn't dark.
But for arguments sake, lets go with my favorite darks,

Imperial (Costa Rican Lager, i wish i could get it here)
Sam Adam's Boston Lager and most of the others
Stella Lager
Anchor Steam
Rouge Yellow Snow
Sierra Nevada
and Goose Island Honkers Ale. Who here can't love this label.

gator, Lowe's and Home Depot sell personal use Kegerators through their appliance department, I believe you can land a pretty good one for around $600, maybe less.....

I know that the kegerator is expensive (that why Viking doesn't call it a kegerator). There are some more cost effective ones out there.

Sure is, just buy you a big garbage can, insert keg, add ice, now you've got a cold keg! Now if you want to be stingy and keep it in your house and only enjoy it without company get a kegerator.
