old waverly.....

Postby jkb87 » Thu Feb 15, 2007 2:25 pm

stayed at the cottage last nite there, part of the present to the ol lady..... this morning at six thirty i jumped up out of bed and ran to the window, she jumped up and said whats wrong, whats out there, and turned and smiled and said, you didnt hear it, geese, havent seen them in a while. she simply said my lord and laid back down.

but on the flip side, there was a good flock of them and some woodies too there.....

JKB87, dont be bothering my geese! I have feed that same flock of birds for over a year know. Would never shoot one. Next time you stay there during duck season give me a shout and I will take you to the Old Waverly duck ponds back behind the course.

to duckiller,

yes i have, i try and stop by and see ya when i can. its baseball season, and me being a coach i feel somewhat oblaigated to be there and coach everyday... but i try to stop by when i can, at least im not over there using ya for food and a place to shoot fireworks.....

the course is dead, but still very nice. more and more houses are being built on the course and it looks great, something west point should always be proud of to have.....
