http://www.duracoatinc.com

Best in the business. I'll be sending off a couple pretty soon to them.

And I see that they have let their website subscription expire.

Do a search on yellowpages.com for Duracoat in Georgia.

Is this as tough as the factory coating? Will deet in bug spray strip it? I was going to look into this myself. Anyone have any thing good or bad to say about this process?
Thanks,

DuraCoat IS the factory process. They dip for a lot of manufacturers. I have had them do a couple of my guns. They do a great job. MSDuckmen had them do one of his, you might get his opinion, too.

Mines been dipped for the last three years. I noticed a scratch on it at the end of this season. By scratch I mean just a scratch - great job. I'm hard on guns too. My next gun will be shipped to them also.

My buddy (almost former buddy) left one of my DuraCoat guns on the bumper of a truck in South Dakota. We noticed it go spinning down the paved road while heading to another field. It survived with only a 1.8" by 4" scratch down the barrel that barely got to the metal. That stuff is TOUGH!

Mine is about 6 years old, and is getting a little more "yellow" (not brighter but darker). So, I guess the camo skin "ages" a little bit.

Briley (the folks that make the chokes) in Houston does it,but they are high. Gander Mountain also does it, they are cheaper than Briley. They have several patterns..

If I remember correctly, Duracoat offers all Realtree and Mossy Oak patterns, both new and discontinued. They also offer the Natgear camo also.
