Got into some of those resident geese this morning. Three of us put five of those big boys on the ground out of one big flock. Set up in a cut corn field that they were using. Put out two dozen canada dekes and hid in the bushes. After an hour of nothing here they come, talking real sweet. Chatted back and those ole big bombers locked up and in. We cut em down.
Ole Rocky had a time carrying those geese. I may be hooked. Travis--wish you were here.

YOU went goose hunting? I don't buy it. I'm calling john in the morning, to see. Im sure he killed 3 of those 5 anyway...
Drewman & tbone & rowdy all got their first doves this morning. Had a blast. Yesterdays goose hunt, sucked. The geese weren't buying what we where selling, and the kids didnt have the patience to sit tight till they came back.... Never fired a cap yesterday. Shot 12 boxes between us today though! travis
