I would like to have just one hunt like those pics you have oltcutdown. I tried all year to get a pintail drake to go on my wall and never did. 6 years hunting and only killed one.

Same here, don't feel bad. When I did get one he went straight to the taxidermist.

Ducksak and duckdawg, our pits are all on private ground. We had a good year on pins this year (70) and fair last year (~40). Ducksak, do you hunt fields in the delta? or timber? I'd think you boys would kill your fair share of pins in the fields. In the 05/06 season in Jan, we were covered up in pintails, and other ducks were hard to find.

KWAKHED, nice pics and I'm officially jealous of the black. We didn't see ONE all year this season. Saw around 4 last year and killed one. Thats a nice looking pup too.
