5.

I went on 2 hunts this year first hunt was a 10, second was a 0, averaged out to a 5. Mostly cause I did not get to go as much as I would have liked.

Solid 8.5...I hunt deer only in November and December, ducks only in January so I can only reference half the season but it was great...4 mallard, 2 other limits on 10 of 15 hunts...At least 3 birds on the other 5 hunts...Banded GH on 6th hunt of the year...Good buddy hunts/good solo hunts...

Rating could go to a 9 if the youth hunt goes well...My only complaints are that I never saw vast numbers of ducks, where were the gadwall, wigeon and pintails and how did I let that full plummage drake blue wing teal get away?

I would rate my season a solid 9! The only reason it wasn't a 10 was because my dog bit one of my customers that I took hunting!

Seriously, it was a great season for me even though my numbers don't compare to most of those listed. I killed more ducks and geese than I ever have. My dog got to retrieve more ducks and geese than he ever had. I got to take one of my friends hunting and he killed his first duck.
I hunted more places than I ever have before with old friends and new friends alike. It was a great season and I look forward to it again this year.
