Vet in NW MS?

Postby labmann » Tue Nov 26, 2002 7:32 pm

I'm moving to Southaven, MS in a few weeks and need to know of a good vet in that area. If anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears (or eyes).

Dr. Franklin

I have to agree. I have three labs now and they all go to Dr. Franklin. Shadow was snake bitten when she was about two weeks from delivery. I was expecting a $300.00 bill when I was done. I walked away with two nights and three days stay for her. All the antivenom and medication. She doesn't have a mark on her where the skin could have died and all the pups were born healthy. I walked out for $160.00 and the feeling of genuine concern from a vet.
I have lived here for 2 years now and seen 3 vets. He comes top on my list.
Son, that was the decoy. The duck is the one flying. Nice shot though ;)

I too use Dr. Franklin, but he is soon leaving the practice, if he hasn't already. I really hate it because he was a no nonsense vet, a good 'ol boy that was more than fair with his pricing. He has a vet out of Tupelo taking over his building and practice.
