Delta Birds

Postby dchunter » Thu Jan 25, 2007 10:02 am

Just back last week from a three day hunt in the delta. Best hunt that we have had in years. More bull sprigs in the area than I have ever seen. Thanks to big cold front we hit it just right. Thanks to the birds I was able to relieve some stress. Hope you boys hammer them to end the season.
Good luck and God Bless.
thanks,

if My cyphering is correct thats 3 birds per hunter per day...We delta fella's are spoiled 3 a day to us means below average day. Although some days this year 3 would of been super.

Bottomline it aint always about the numbers eh! Glad you came and spent your money here instead of in Arkansas. I heard that folks in Mo had a bang up year

I agree with you tunica. I enjoy the fellowship with my friends most of all. I also agree that for yall hunting in mississippi that might not be alot of birds but when you are use to hunting in North Carolina its a great hunt.
Its nice to be able to see birds pretty much all morning long. Where we hunt in the carolinas we might see 100.

Average ducks seen per hunt in central NC = 35 to 50. This is why we visit MS. I saw more ducks there in 1 day than I'll see here in 2 years.
