Crawdads

Postby msdrake » Thu Nov 21, 2002 12:14 pm

I have not been to the delta this year. Can anyone tell me the status of Crawdads. I know it burned during the season last year and capped off a bad hunting season. Did they get it rebuilt in the same place? Hope to see yall there.

It is back and bigger than before. It is really a site to see. The resturant is basically designed the same as it was before.

:D Yes, they did rebuild and it is awesome. We ate there this past
dove season and the food was great. We have a lease in Drew, MS
so I will be visiting it often.

Where is Crawdads? Some friends of mine that were going to Delta State at the time took me to a little whole in the wall resteraunt for lunch one day just north of Cleveland and I was thinking that it was called Crawdads. It was only about 10 miles, if that far from Cleveland. When you walked in, through the almost falling off the hinges screen door, there was a buffet right there with some good ol' country cookin'! Right beside our table was a used condom as well. Guess some folks got a little crazy the night before. hahahahaha Anyway, just was wondering if this was the same place or not.

To the STAFF: The food is good, but the other night I ordered some Gumbo. Thought I was chewing on a crawdad tail, but I guess it was a condom ring from the night before. I guess Tripp was cooking the Gumbo or either Nichols closed the bar down.
