Bass Pro

Anyone know if Bass Pro will let you blow a call before you buy it? And for that matter does anyone know a good double reed call with a sweet end like a single reed??

They have let me on several occasions. I would suggest an Echo. If you don't want to spend a whole lot of money they make a diamondwood for about $45. I have one of the diamondwood calls and a Cocabola double, it was $75 at the extravaganza.

I have blown an echo single reed...is the double as loud as the single?

It depends on how you get it tuned. Mine will get low and it will ring.

I always do and they kinda just look at me. Some ole boy walked up and grabbed one out of the box wif me and we had'em cupped. My wife was to say the least embarrassed. I asked for a Cocabola RNT and the employee said we can't keep those Coca-Cola ones in, I said yeah there pretty popular.
