It's HOCKEY night in the Mid-South.

This Friday night who would like to go to a Riverkings game. If we can get enough folks, we can get discounted tickets for good seats. The game is at 7:05 pm. I'm going regardless...it can be kinda like a MSDucks get-together of sorts. I can get MSDucks.com recognition on the jumbotron if y'all want it. To get the discounted tickets, we'll probably need 10 folks committed. There will be a "Post-Game-Skate" which is where after the game you can go skate on the ice for an hour. It costs $5 per person to do this...which includes ice skate rental...it's cheaper if you have your own skates, but most of us don't. Sometimes players skate during this, but not this particular time. If you'd rather go drink beer and eat hot wings with the players, they will be going to Buffalo Wild Wings after the game. Either activity is fun, I've done both.

I'd never been to a hockey game until I took my son with the cub scouts a few weeks back. We both had a blast. Count me in if there will be another opportunity after duck season.

That may be a better idea...post duck season. If your son is in 3rd-6th grades, I believe he may be going next week to a 10:05 a.m. game. I know deltaduk was at the game friday night...hope he had a good time...maybe we could count him in plus his son and son's friends??? This doesn't have to be a "boys night out" My daughter will DEFINATELY be there with me..so kids/wives are more than welcome.

Dutch, after duck season would be MUCH better...
I know we are hunting as much as we possibly can right now. Especially if this latest cold front pushes the dux south

Games in February are on the 1st, the 23rd, and 24th. I'm almost 100% positive all games are 7:05 start. The games on the 23rd and 24th will have a post-game-skate....and are on Friday and Saturday nights respectively. The game on the 1st is on a Thursday night, and there will be no post-game-skate.

I used to have season tickets to the kings and have followed them since they originally came to memphis. I'm always up for going.

The game on the 1st, I can get tickets for $5 each. (red level) which is where I like to sit anyway. You can't beat $5 per ticket.

I've had season tickets the past 4 years. We are also the sponsor of the Al Williams Bail Bonds penalty box.
Throw away those Wal-Mart calls and go buy you a Rich-N-Tone!
