Funny story about a vest:

The first vest I got for my male dog went all the way down to his hips on the tummy side. After the first hunt, when we got back to the boat ramp he jumped out and ran to his favorite "relief station" (a tree). Hiked his leg, and the pee came out right under his chin! Next outing we customized the vest with some scissors so it was "anatomically correct".

I just started using one this year on my female lab.Been using it on colder days, you can slide a finger under the vest and feel the warmth.Plan to keep using it for cold weather hunts.

I hunt rice field 95% of the time and always use one, even when it is
65 degrees outside because it helps keep ME dry when he shakes. Cash stays completly dry when he has the vest on.

Only put it on mine on cold days. I don't like using in tangley buck brush stuff unless it is really cold. I think she hangs more on some of that stuff and tires her out.
