Any body heard of Silver Bullet Labs??
Just wondering if any one has heard of these dogs. http://www.silverbulletlabs.com/ I have a friend that is looking for a dog that will strictly be a house dog and play with his two young boys. He wants one that is white is his only stimpulation. Looking for a pup. If anyone knows where some white one are let me know he's looking to buy now.

Never heard of them
But, if you are looking for a hunting dog, i dont think i would use some one that has "Our dogs are bred for looks, temperment, and hunting."
on the front page.
If looks are the first thing on their "want" list, i would look elsewhere.

Noted that $1000 for limited registration and 1500 for unlimited registration. I understand the limited part, but I didn't think most people just sold an unlimited for more money, I thought limitations were used to improve some factor on the dog.
They would work great in the snow!!!

what about CHoctaw Labs
What about Choctaw Labs, he talked with them and they have a litter just born there that is white. I told him that if he is not going to breed this dog or run the dog in some competitions then I would just find one that I liked from the looks and judge by the parents and not worry about the pedigree. Would you pay the 1k-1500 if it was not really going to count for anything such as breeding, just to say you have it? What do you guys think about that.

Your friend could save some frustration by skipping the puppy stage and look into these girls or something similar...

If he wants a house dog, my advice would be to save some money. There are plenty of labs in rescue or from backyard breeders that should fill his need...just an idea. Of course, health concerns come into play though...that's a definite downside.
Good luck!

Thanks
Thanks for the reply but I know that he is wanting a puppy. This is decision going to co-mingle with his soon to be 2 year old little boy which wants a puppy as well.

Even for a pet I would still go with something out of Hunt test lines that has health clearences. Most HT dogs are not just machines but are nice pets as well. We are not talking about that much more money and when comparing to $1500 white dogs they are a steal if your patient and do some asking around.

Kind of what I was thinking too. Maybe a OB, FF started dog but not a pup to turn out to be a couch potatoe, but I guess if thats what he wants then go for it. I guess those people @ the kennel that charge $1500 for those pups gotta eat too...........but not filet mignon every night!!!

http://www.tripletlabs.com I bought my wife a white lab from them. Great house dogs. Very pretty and no desire to hunt. I think their pups usually are 600.--Ace
