polar invasion sounds like it hit about a month to late. so when do you think the ducks would fly south for it?

I hope it turns out that way for you. But looking at the snow cover map, there is only 2" of snow in N. Dakata right now and little to none farther south. The cold will push some duck on down, but not the big push you get when food gets covered up. There is little snow associated with this next front.

Keep your fingers crossed.

Agreed but I'd still like to play in the snow some. Haven't seen any in a while.

I don't know if it's gonna happen this year or not...but I'm not real optomistic....

Next year will be a new club or lease for me and more than likely a trip up north to Canada...just to hedge my bets....

I haven't zeroed this year so I can't complain too much, but somethings gonna change for next year, even if its just the scenery...after 8 years in the same spot its time to move on....

We need to start planning that road trip to Montana or Canada right now. New lease for me too but I'm optimistic this last little blast of cold air will help make the season a touch better.

Next Tuesday night it's supposed to snow in SE Arkie. Would you hunt Tuesday or Wednesday?

i have enjoyed the warm weather season so far. had my share of good luck, and makes sittin on the deck of the quack-shack with the grill going pretty enjoyable...this is my second season without a dog and makes me sit around talking to myself... have not lost an arguement yet :D
