Any Speculations....
As to how the hunting might be this weekend around Belzoni... We have hunted our place every weekend and haven't seen more than maybe 100 birds total, none of which were workable.

hunted not to far from there last weekend. we basicly blew it. had enough ducks to hunt and set up on the wrong hole in our field. not a ton of ducks in the air, but there were enough to have a decent hunt. pretty similar weather conditions for this wekend so I am going and will try to seal the deal this time. i am thinking with the rain forecasted that it should be one of those days where you can sit in the field a while and scratch out a limit.

Did the same thing.. Sat in a deerstand and watched 150+ mallards and various other big ducks land in a timber hole in the late afternoon.. The next day, ALL GONE!

Couldn't shoot them from the bed so we went up to the lease in Isola. 4 hunters got 2GH"s, 3 Canvasbacks, 1 Sponnie, 4 Bluebills and 4 Mergiees! ...........And a Partridge in a pear tree! Or was it a dove?..........

Is that lease on the break just west os Isola? (Dutch) I have 2 buddies who hunt there-Mike Tullos and Steve Huckaby. They haven't had a good year from what I'm hearing. It may not be called Dutch Break afterall.
Does Mike Tullos work for CN Railroad?
