Yes waterbound, it's south of 82. Just south of a little town called Tribett
Why is my mouth so dry this morning, when I drank so much last night?

Just before you get to Leland (1-2 miles) you will see a Texaco just across a bridge on the north side of 82 (there used to be a Borbon Mall bill board before the bridge), take a left (south) onto Tribbett Rd. (or at least that's what it used to be) and go and go and go a little more, you will see the lights and a sign (Mall will be on your left). Now if you want to go backroads, that may be a little trickier to explain, cause everybody has a different way and none of them are wrong. I don't know how many landmarks are left (Silver Bell, Kinlock Bridge, etc.)
... and yes, you HAVE to try the fried hot tamalies (sp). Everything is good on the menu, but you may spend a c note easily with tip if you belly up to the bar(s) and eat good. It is well worth it though.

It is not a Texaco, it's a Phillips 66. There is no billboard either. there may be a small homemade sign there. But it is SUPER EASY to find. The Phillips 66 is also called Fratesi's, you can't miss it. The road is DIRECTLY in front of Fratesi's, turn on it and drive, it is the only business your going to come to! Have fun!!

I figured it had probably changed, it used to be a Texaco when they first re-modeled it and it has been a couple of years since I've seen the billboard (now that I think about it), .
Sorry for the erroneous info waterbound. Pntailhntr, thanks for clearing it up.

Wound-
Having been a restauranteer, I was wondering if you contacted Cicerno's and notified them of your experience? A reputable place should try to make monetary amends to you and at least have liability ins. for exactly this instance. With 5 of ya'll affected, they definitely had an obligation to try to placate you to some degree.

I think that gas station is closed.
If you get to the Budwieser plant on the left side of the road you have gone too far.
When you do make the left on Tribbet Rd the plant is off in the distance and in view.
Our waitress out there Sat night was a firecraker. Especially after a few cold ones and hanging out with dudes all day.

Hole Hunter, You are right about the gas station is passed it after 7 at night or on Sunday. They close sort of early for a gas station and are never open on Sunday.
1dead, No, I've never hunted Whittington, you have to have a GOOD boat to get there this time of year as you have to go in by the river unless you know someone at the Outing Club and you can use there launch. The Boat Launches on the lake close during duck season to keep so many duck hunters off the lake, I have hunted Lake Lee and it's good at times, I've been wanting to head over to lake Ferguson to see I could find some there but just haven't. I haven't tried any oxbows over in Arkansas at all.
