Waders lifetime
Just wondering how long do you think an average pair of waders will last before getting a new pair.
This is after normal use/abuse, taking care of them after a hunt, and patching a few leaks.
Seems like everytime I get finished hunting as of late my leg/waist area is wet although I don't feel cold water during the hunt. I assume it is a small hole somewhere, or maybe the seam coming loose after so many of you have made that observation as well in other topics.

Get ya a pair of the Canvas Camo waders. Don't have to worry about them getting holes in them as bad as the neoprene ones and they won't cost ya an arm and a leg either..

ya know if you guys quit eating Dingy Moore Chili you might get more use out of a pair...Try not eating that stuff you guys eat...The gases you guys produce does have a effect on Neoprene waders
Mine are going on about 3 years. Lacrosse 5mm. These have been put through hell and back. Paid around $80 on ebay.

The old Rocky's with kevlar patches on the knees-10 years easy even if you wear them every day of the season. The boots will dry rot before you ever wear out the waders.
With "modern" waders, I have already ripped holes in one pair of brush tuffs this year. And what is up with all the gun snagging buckles and gizmos they put on wader straps these days? What ever happened to good old velcro? They just don't make them like they used to any more!

heheheh, ask for scotty. Tell him you want the same waders I have. He'll know the ones. They have really good prices on kinds of hunting boots. They don't advertise much though
Why is my mouth so dry this morning, when I drank so much last night?
