Got my first band in 19 years of huntin! Woodrow drake. Didn't even see it until I started to clean the ducks last night..... Man, it feels great!

No spinners on this hunt..... Although I do have one-you could add it to your collection if you think it would increase your chances of killing a banded bird! Go post hog somewhere else.

Yeah, I had made a habit of it, but got a little busy trying to set my little BLF up on a pair of down wind blinds and these two wood ducks pass over-miss the first shot on the trailing drake and catch upto him on the second. Remembering back she even brought it to me belly up and I didn't even look. Not again!

Congrats man, been hearing about a lot of woody bands being killed. Still looking for mine. Post up the info about were he came from when you get it.

Congrats Astorey!!!

My first band came off a Drake Woodie, I never even looked to see if there was one. The sun reflected off it about an hour after I shot it and I looked down and though HOLY SHAT!!!! It'S BANDED!! That was great, I know how you felt!!!!

That was about 13 or 14 years ago and That was my last banded bird too!!! Hope you don't have to wait that long!!
