Matador is right. Chuck is still in Tito's head. Had it not been because of their names and the whoopla, the fight would have been stopped in the first round when Chuck had Tito up against the fence laying rights down on his face. Tito was done and I do not feel if the fight had been stopped at that point would have doubted the results.
Tito went down from a left cross to the temple that took his legs out from under him. In the past when Ken and Forrest rocked Tito, he was able to pull them to the ground so that he could get his senses back. Well, Chuck was not going to go down and just stood there popping Tito.
I really thought Dean might beat Forrest only because he is a slightly smarter fighter. I thought their toughness and ability to take a punch was even, but I thought he might try not to just stand in the middle of the ring and try and out slug Forrest like Bonner attempted to do two times. Dean worked the fight perfectly and when he landed a bunch that rocked Forrest he capitalized on the moment and took the fight over and won it with a KO.
Now, if Dean was nervous for this fight, I am not sure if he is ready for Liddell, but who else is out there in the light heavyweight class to try and take the title? If Dean can get one or two more fights under him, I think he and Liddell would make a good fight. He does not mind boxing and can take a bunch, something Tito has problems with, and also stand up and fight something Tito has problems with.
I am not saying that Tito is less of a fighter than Dean, but Dean’s style of stand up might be more suited for a Liddell loss. Tito had his chance when he took Liddell down, but did not capitalize.
I have never been a Leben fan, so seeing him loose, AGAIN, did not break my heart.

Chucks biggest competetion is going to be Rampage Jackson. Although over the past two years Rampage and slipped a little and Chuck has continued to improve. What kills me is how on the forums, people still don't give Chuck credit. Bottom line is he may not get it done with traditional stand up boxing skills but HE GETS IT DONE!
As for Jardine, he needs a few more fiights before they throw him to Chuck. He shows a lot of promise though.

Chuck could have ended it in the 1st round if he wanted to. He let titto up after he was hurt and could have ended it just like he ended it in the third. I think he knew he was gonna win and wanted it to last longer since it was the main event. Just my take on it. And what about the CHOKE on leben. Good lord he is a fighter, he wouldn't even tap out......... he could have been killed. That is what it is all about. Forrest got the hell beat out of him.
