Crossgates Lake?

i think the're muskogee ducks or something like that.. taste great.. been hunting them for years... i use loaves of bread insted of decoys.. and of corse a mojo..

Passed by there this a.m. and saw a diamond spread with 8 mojos surrounding and the ducks would come in low over 80 right in. Then I saw a lady come down to the bank and take the limit back to the house and them boys were back at it. Damn outlaws, what can you do.

Can you really hunt that lake? Or am I just missing something :shock:

My sister has a camphouse right on the lake, so I take a loaf of bread grab a lawn chair, mix a drink, and kill a limit before the drink is gone. Really whacked 'em one time when I took my layout boat out in the lake and threw out a dozen turkey duck decoys and a garbage bag full of stale bread I bought at Bunny Bread.

Oh Yeah you can hunt it....the canvasbacks start to flock in there right after Christmas.

There are a couple of lakes off Shiloh Road where the goose hunting is just fantastical!

Man, y'all missed out. You dhouldda hunted Mirror Lake and it's surrounding fields when they were in their prime. :wink:
