a good friend of mine was telling me he and a friend hunted davis Island in a 14' walmart special john boat with like a 10 horsepower. Needless to say that was his one and only river hunt. I have had to work several capsizes where folks in john boats don't come back from the big muddy. I think I respect that monster just a tad too much to chance it. Hope your season goes well.

River Hunting
Like I said in the previous post, I have been in the river numerous times. The boat I always use is a 1651 Alumacraft with an Offshore 60 HP Mercury. I have never had an problems.

I swear to god.
Please let this post die.
If you want to talk about specific holes, do it in PMs.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

I use a 24' bay boat with a 225 optimax, VHF, GPS and sometimes radar.

I hope you have enjoyed the spots this year. You may have a crowd now
