We went through our church who knew of a needy family. I'm not sure where the Angel Trees are in the metro area. Should only take about an hour of your time and a little money to make an otherwise dissappointing Christmas a magical day for some kid. I think the Walmarts may be doing something like an angel tree as well.

New parka and bibs. Plus some pieces/parts for huntiing. My wife and I didn't do the Angel Tree this year (we slipped up) but we have in the past. It is a very good program and you really get the "true Christmas feeling" when you do it. Even though you will probably never know the child or even meet them, you know that you have given them a little something to make their lives better even if their parents are crackheads or whatever.

Gave all my relatives a copy of the macks pw catalog with a few things circled. So I could be gettting nything. My wife and I gave each other a new tv. So who knows.

Another good thing at christmas time is the operation shoe box by the samaritan pure. You fill a shoe box full of stuff and they send it to 3rd worls countries for kids for christmas. They are also witnessed to and shown the love of christ.
Also many of the churches throughout the state take up food for the needy. We handed some out yesterday and people are very appeciatve.

Any charity or goodwill you do during the Christmas season is better than nothing. If everyone got just one less present for themselves and gave that to a needy person it would be hard to measure the amount of happiness on Christmas morning for the needy families. I have yet to encounter an ungrateful person when you're trying to help their kids have a good Christmas. It's worth every penny you spend. Also once you start you'll find what you spend doesn't seem like enough.

Check with your local churches on the Angel Tree program, or call your local Junior Auxillary president. The JA ladies will be all over it.

Some bow accessories and a new cell phone, my other phone is fixing to give up. Just after CHRISTmas I will get the credit card bills.

Merry CHRISTmas guys. For the last 2 years, my little girl's smiles have been the greatest presents since the birth of Jesus. Kids make CHRISTmas fun again.
There will be a day....
