hunting

Postby outlaw josey wales » Wed Dec 13, 2006 11:02 pm

i can remember as a kid riding "3" wheeler not 4 as far out as i could stand and getting on a ditch bank or waters edge on our farm and just hoped to shoot! we would walk the creek behind my parents house. i had all the right equipment back then- olt duck call, single shot 20ga ,your basic black lab that would follow me to hell if i walked there and hand me down clothes and boots. at your age it aint about killing but thrill of going to hunt and enjoy it because when you get a job all hunting seems to be few and far between and then you get married and it is even less time to hunt and then you have newborn and get shut down completely. i wish i could help you lil man but besides taking you down here we aint got much hope but keep looking for a place down there or just enjoy being young and carefree and just get out there and be adventurous

watch out for all those asking personal information and only agree to meet any of these guys with your dad, first off. But keep hunting and take some of them up on their offers if your dad has the time. It's probably better and cheaper to start off wading if money is an issue but if you can afford it boats are quicker and easier. You have to get your hunters education card if you hadn't already too. I agree it took guts to get on here with these bozos but don't worry about hurting their feelings, they are big boys and can take it.
