Check the Fighting Bayou Refuge. I'm sure she high tailed it to safety.

I have shot four satelite ducks in my career. Three pintail hens, and one dos gris drake. Unless they have changed the design on the satelite trackers, THERE IS NO WAY YOU COULD SEE IT UNTIL YOU HAD BIRD IN HAND! ESPECIALLY ON A HEN. The Dos Gris drake I shot was just about to land on the water when I shot him about 12 years ago, and I had no idea there was a transmitter on him until I picked him up in my pirouge. I call major BS, I also call BS as you would still be looking for her if in fact you thought there was a transmitter on her.
Good way to stir the pot though.

PS Sprig.
If you really did, I am 10 minutes away. I know you want to see a real dog (chessie) work.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

Thirty or so years ago I killed two transmitter ducks on different weekends at Hillside that were banded there. The Fed. almost stroked when I brought the second one to the check-in station.
