Thinking about buying a new muzzleloader: suggestions?

Postby JoHo » Wed Nov 29, 2006 7:56 pm

What kind of muzzleloader do you guys suggest? I am not wanting to spend a lot of money since I will only hunt with it for two weeks out of the year.
Thanks in advance for the advice.

11/30: thanks for the suggestions. I bought a 500 S and W Handi rifle

H&H 45-70. Easy to clean and easy to load. They made the law so why not take advantage of it.

If you dont want to spend a lot of money I would go with the Traditions Pursuit or the CVA optima. I have shoot both and both should good. Triggers on them dont compare to an encore.
