Ruleville

Postby TODO » Wed Nov 29, 2006 3:55 pm

In the spirit of helping out the boys that gotta work for a livin', dont have time to scout, and generally need some direction to a good shoot, Im gonna break the non-topwater code of ethics and give some of you boys new to the delta a heads up on a little known, but infamous, public spot east of ruleville. Its about 5 acres, 2 miles east of Ruleville on # 8. Its only a couple miles from Fighting Bayou as the crow flies. The only thing you need is a permit from the Ruleville City Hall. Call in advance and ask for tanesha, just ask for the Ruleville Lagoon permit and she can get ya hooked up. I think the cost is $5.00. Get there early, and good luck!

Can one o' you guys draw me a map of how to get there? I'm not asking to give your honey hole away.......but I have to go to school during the week and don't have much time to scout. Maybe I could send you some money for enough lollipop reflectors to get me from downtown Rulevill to the 'spot'.

I'm also driving 300 miles to kill a duck, so if you have an extra dog house I could sleep in, I don't need much.......I'll even keep your dog warm at night.......I just wanna kill a trophy bootlip duck to mount on the hood of my '69 Maverick w/ chrome mud flaps. It's the one with the full-sized DU logo in the rear window.

Thanks in advance, guys.

Ant, you could easily set up for a super duper ambush from the bank in a layout, no need for the neotub. Its a great place for the shoveler hunt to remember, but has lots of fatheads to. I'll be shooting um in the lips at the hole this sat, come by and speak after the hunt. I'll be easy to spot, cause i got the 24" x 36" du sticker on my back window and the magnetic 24" x 40" avery sticker on the tailgate.

the good Doctor has a sensitive nose, there's a catfish processing plant right up the road, when you get the strong north wind it can smell bad. But everybody here is hardcore, right?
