where did my ducks go and who killed them

Postby kaustin » Sat Nov 25, 2006 6:11 pm

I was really excited about this weekend. I had over 1000 birds on the water Sun when we checked the hole. Fri morning we probably didn't see 300 birds all morning, only got a few within shooting range and killed 6  . Sat was a little better and we killed 16. Not a bad opener at all and I would have normally been OK with it but 4 days ago the place was covered in mallards. So, my question is, who near Crowder killed all the ducks because I know there was a whole bunch in the area 4 days ago.

Are you talking about dumb and dumber and the short bus they road into camp? Looks are deceiving when it comes to what can be cooked in it.

The camper was a good source of jokes all weekend. It was nicknamed "up in smoke" and I warned them several times to "watch out for migrant mexican workers trying to steal it". Gotchoc and bigbee only paid $300 for it and all kidding aside it was worth more than what they paid for it. Thanks for breakfast guys and don't worry about the camping fee.

Buy those guys some 12" wide ducktape. That's what I use on my trailer at deer camp.
