congrats, my huntin buddy killed a banded greenhead fri morn. first time he shot at a bird. how is that for luck. he has never had one and the first shot he took this season was one. i told him he owed my dog a steak for chasing it down since it was just crippled
If i couldn't hunt with my dog, then i wouldn't hunt at all.

First Greenhead Banded

Postby greenhead67 » Sun Nov 26, 2006 9:06 am

Hunting with a longtime friend and his son Friday. We set up on a grass pocket in the middle of the Miss. River, First Greenhead that came in , his Son made a good shot. I told him to go pick up that banded greenhead. He brought it back and it was. Big Duck, over 4 years old, banded in Saskatchewan. His 3rd hunt ever.
