defected shells ?

Postby CHAD S » Thu Nov 23, 2006 6:08 pm

Last week I bought 2 boxes of last yrs Hevi Shot at Sportsman Wharehouse. I just went to take them out of my blind bag and I noticed some white grain. The buffer is coming out of the shells. The crimp didn't go all together. Should I throw them out or could I shoot them 1st b/f more falls out? Of course I don't have my recipts any more.

At $18 a box, I hate to throw them out. :x What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance
Chad

That's normal. Don't worry about it. Did they have any Hevi left at $18.00. That's good price.

I had the same thing happen. Drop a little candle wax on the bottom and it will seal it up fine. I couldn't tell a diffence in the performance of the shells.
